What Is an Externship?

An externship allows students to practice skills they have learned in class in a real healthcare setting. By becoming an externship site, you help students complete this final phase of training while gaining early access to job-ready talent. Externships are unpaid, generally full-time, and can range from 120 to 160 hours.
