A Better Approach to EMT Training

This is a hybrid course, with 50% instructor-led online lectures and 50% hands-on lab training. The EMT Program satisfies all training guidelines established by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority and is authorized to run through our partnerships with adult schools and community colleges.
Upon graduation, students are prepared to take the national EMT Certification exam through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Students can then apply for state licensure in California.

The EMT Program includes placement into a 24-hour externship at the end of the course.
In California, a clinical externship is required to obtain state licensure. This experience helps students get their foot in the door faster because they are job-ready. Many students are recruited during their time in the program, even before they graduate.

Certification
Tuition includes the national EMT certification exam, administered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
Once students pass the EMT class and externship and receive a certificate of completion, they are ready to take the national certification exam.
Students who pass the exam may apply for state licensure through the California Emergency Medical Services Authority.
